As an independent Volunteer Organization, We charge our volunteers a nominal amount for raising funds.

Once you have selected as a volunteer, you will be requested to provide your flight details or pay registration fee to secure your position on program.
Program Fee includes

Orientation: Orientation will be taken by our staff. We cover areas like, culture, greetings, locations, Project details, responsibilities, placement information, Volunteer Work Ideas , TEFL tips (for teaching volunteers ) etc.
Nepali Language Class: Basic Nepali Language class will be taken in Kathmandu during orientation phase (2 days). Basic Nepali words and phases help you to adjust in project location quickly.
Lodging: We provide Lodging for you as per availability and under our management. We make plan internally to do our best.
Travel assistance: If participants like to travel around, we provide with full support for bookings & arrangements to travel within the country.
24/7 Support: Guidance and Support from Volunteer Aid Nepal and its Networks. Volunteers for Development Aid, Education Aid, Documentary film making and Photography Aid Program, will get one full time Nepali assistant to work with you together. For other program, you will work through the guidance of partner Organization staff /Local contact person.

Airfare, Visa fees ( Visa fees: US$ 25 for 15 days, US$ 40 for 30 days, US$ 100 for 90 days and US$ 2 per additional day – Visa can be obtained upon arrival in Tri-Bhuvan International Airport )

What do I do in the free time ?
You can utilize your free time as your interest. There are many options in the Nepal to utilize your free time during volunteering. For example, you can do creative works for the betterment of people.
What is the weather like in Nepal?
The width of Nepal is only about 200 km on average, but within this short distance the altitude of the land rises from lowly 60m to all the way up to above 8000m. Hence the weather depends upon the altitude of the place in Nepal. However, in general Nepal has four climatic seasons: Summer, Monsoon, Autumn and Winter.
Summer is from March to May. The temperature of this season fluctuates between 20 °C to 30 °C (68 °F to 86°F). Monsoon lasts from June to August. These are also the pre-monsoon months with occasional evening-thunderstorms and hot temperature. Autumn starts from September and ends by November. During this period, the climate is dry and mild with temperature fluctuating between 20 °C to 30 °C (68 °F to 86 °F). Winter starts from December to February. The morning and evening are very cold while the afternoon is pretty sunny. The temperature during these months rises from 15 °C to 20 °C (59 °F to 68 °F).
Does an Volunteer Aid Nepal staff person stay in the village with me during my placement?
Volunteer Aid Nepal Nepal staff member will not be in your placement village for a long period . However, each Districts has a local ‘ District Representative’ to assist the volunteer with any issues that may arise in the village. Volunteer Aid Nepal is one of the main voluntary organization that take all responsibility to place you in Program Location. Volunteer Aid Nepal also mobilize National Volunteers to Assist foreign Volunteers with minimum 5 each foreign volunteers. Member from Our partner organization will help to during your stay in local area.
