I am greatly honored to write few words for website of Volunteer Aid Nepal (VAID Nepal). Nepal is one of the richest country of the world in terms of socio-cultural and bio-diversity. Abundant cultural and natural resources of Nepal are always being a magnet for thousands of foreign visitors every year. It is a country of cultural mosaic where one can learn, share, feel and observe cultural, social and biological varieties. In this connection the volunteering program offered by Volunteering Aid Nepal is an ample opportunity for those who ever are interested to learn from people, to feel the nature and to observe the culture in Nepal. I hope the program designed and offered by Volunteer Aid Nepal is only one of its kinds first time in Nepal. Out of 11 volunteer Program Education Aid Program (EAP), Children’s Home/Orphanage Support Program (CH/OSP), Development Aid Program (CDP), Cultural Exchange Program (CEP), Research Program (RP), , Internship Program (IP), Agriculture Volunteering (AV) are have good institutional relations with University, Campus, NGOs, CBOs and Governmental Offices as well. I hope the website of VAID Nepal will be immensely useful not only for volunteers to Nepal it will also be equally useful to those who are interested for variety of research, internship and collaborative community activities with people of Nepal. I appreciate those interested people who want to come, learn, share and feel about Nepal please browse the www.volunteeraidnepal.org . Personally I would like to welcome all the interested persons who want to learn about indigenous knowledge, society, culture, ethnicity, developmental activities and caste, ethnic and gender relations in Nepalese society through Volunteer Aid Nepal. I am so much impressed with the mission, vision and objectives of VAID Nepal. so, I sincerely thanks and heartily congratulate to the Bhuvan Poudel and his team for commencement of such a marvelous sites for interested volunteers.
